The UW Badminton Club
Homepage

"The game of badminton is deceptive. The basic techniques are easy to learn and the equipment is easy to handle, providing immediate enjoyment. As experience is gained, however, badminton becomes a mentally and physically stimulating sport where dexterity, agility and stamina are much more important than size and power. Badminton can be intensely competitive, or simply a vigorous lifetime sport."

Paul Malischke
Founding Club Member

The University of Wisconsin Badminton Club was formed in 1980 to provide organized badminton play, camaraderie, coaching, and tournaments. All levels of ability are welcome, and the Club is open to all University students, faculty and staff. Club members play at various times in the Natatorium/Unit II Gym (the Nat), which has as many as 12 high-quality badminton courts available.

To join the Club, fill out the membership form and submit it to a Club officer. Dues are $20 per year for students, and $30 per year for faculty or staff. Memberships expire August 15th each year.
